LANDSCAPE AND HARDSCAPE DESIGN...

All projects come together best when an install is completed from a well thought out design:

Initial Site Meet

Discuss Wants and Needs

DesignInitial Site Meet

An initial site meet is as important as a solid foundation! Not only does it help to keep the project on schedule, but it also helps assure efficiency, safety, and goal achievement. We work with your ideas and work them into a desired outcome. Planning allows us to set reasonable and attainable timelines for all your landscape and hardscape projects. Desires and Budgets

DesignInitial Site Meet

During our first visit we like to hear about your ideas and expectations. This allows us to work within a customer’s budget. Some projects are large and can be broken down into stages to stay on budget.

Preliminary Design

Get Ideas on Paper

DesignPreliminary Deisgn

After our initial meeting we can draft up designs and estimates. Some customers have plans already drawn up, while others can use a little inspiration from our design team.

Make Edits

The second stage of the design process is to make changes to the plan to get closer to the desired outcome and budget.

Build Out Rough Estimates

DesignPreliminary Deisgn

When doing the preliminary design, it’s important to make a plan that meets the budget. Rough estimates help both parties understand the design costs and job length eliminating unnecessary waste of both time and money.

Final Design

Install Quoting

DesignFinal Design

This is the phase where final quotes match a final design. We at Rusty Shovel are then able to tell the customer that we can complete your job for ‘x’ number of dollars and sign a contract based on that final design. Woohoo, let the build begin!

Contractor Bidding

DesignFinal Design

Customers are entitled to take a design done by us to other contractors to get quotes based on that design. This way all contractors bid or quote the job equally.
